奇幻歌曲《Fireworks》和《Fantastic Skelzo》是斯特拉文斯基在受到老师R = Korsakov影响的同时充分展现个性的精彩作品。斯特拉文斯基作为管弦乐队魔术师的天才已经绽放，这是一首美妙的音乐。通过爵士乐队版本为管弦乐队编曲的“俄罗斯风格的谐谑曲”与谐谑曲同名，具有让人联想到“彼得鲁什卡”的民歌曲调。
■ 失传100多年的《葬礼之歌》，NHK交响乐团首演
《葬礼之歌》于1908年为纪念他的老师R = Korsakov之死而作，但据说在1909年首演后，在俄国革命的动荡中消散了一个多世纪。 2015 年，终于在 2016 年由 Gergiev 复兴。乐曲带着哀悼逝者的庄严神情，当时的演出也是NHK交响乐团的首场演出。
