I don't know why anyone would give this recording one star. It's a beautiful rendition of Messiah with some of the best sound quality I've heard. As for it being in 5.0 as opposed to 5.1...who cares? A lot of Classical music is recorded this way (with no sub-channel).

The music is obviously timeless with different (new) renditions like this making it even more so. I waited two years for a copy of the SACD version as it's no longer available in this format. Amazon kept feelers out for a copy and I was eventually rewarded with the SACD at less than retail.
